Albert Leonard Middle School (ALMS) and Isaac E. Young
(IEY) Middle Schools of the New Rochelle City School
District benefited from the “Aggressive Learning
Workshops” offered by Phylis E. Nobile of the
Reading Company. More Approximately 50 participants
and 21 families from Isaac E. Young Middle School and
Albert Leonard Middle School Great Potential Programs
participated in workshops that focused on skill building
in reading, writing, vocabulary and effective behavioral
patterns that would increase their effectiveness in
test taking and learning new skills. Great Potential
is very proud to have been a supporter in helping these
students and parents collaborate through problem solving
for present and future success. “Gifted Hands”
written by Ben Carson, M.D. was given to all students.
